This is my first post and a newbie to building a rod so I'm looking for some advice and I figured this was one of the best places to start.

I'm looking at building a spinning rod that would be used for walleye fishing. The technique is jigging raps. I'm looking at either XSW68MX-TC or ISJ783-M. I'm also open to other ideas so don't think you will hurt my feeling if you suggest something else.
